En / Y — Pronominal Adverbs

Four levels build up the full skill this pronoun system needs: where en or y goes, how negation wraps around the whole block, what order it stacks in with another pronoun, and — with nothing given at all — producing both stacked pronouns from scratch. There's no Agreement level here — en/y never trigger one, and the Grammar Capsule explains why. Choose a level below. No time limit per question — only your total round time is tracked.
Before you start: every level here assumes you can already tell whether a verb governs de or à before a thing — and whether that "thing" is actually a thing, not a person. There's no shortcut for the preposition part; it's memorized per verb, the same way noun gender is. If that's still shaky, warm up with Verbes + Prépositions first (a different fact about the same surface verbs — that drill covers verb + preposition + infinitive, this one covers verb + preposition + noun), then read the rule recap in this drill's Grammar Capsule tab before starting Level 1 — especially the animacy trap, the single biggest source of errors in this system.
